JEE Main Application Form Correction procedure is started from today i.e. 9 January 2018 by the conducting body JEEC (the Joint entrance examination council), UP through its official site. If any applicant seeks any mistake in their uploaded registration forms then they can resolve their problems before their entrance exam date. The candidates who have successfully registered themselves for the Joint entrance exam (JEE) and now after their submission or after they have uploaded their filled application form and now have found any damage or mistakes in their uploaded form should immediately contact to the officials for JEE Main application form correction before the due date for resolving their discrepancies lasts.

Central Board of secondary Education (CBSE) has today begun the data correction process for all the candidates who have registered for the JEE Main 2018 exam which is to be held in April. All the candidates can visit the link before 22 January 2018 as it is the last date to make correction. The applicants who have entered any specific wrong or has submitted incomplete application then they can login now and correct their mistakes. Every applicant now corrects their mistakes in their uploaded image. The candidates whose image will be unclear or will not be visible properly or if they do not follow the preferred format then their application form will be summarily rejected by the officials.

All the candidates should keep in their mind to make corrections by the due date as no request will be accepted for correction after 22 January. The applicants would be asked to pay an additional fee for the corrections. The additional payment can be paid by the applicants either through Credit/Debit card or else they can make their payment complete through E- challan generated during their online JEE Main application form correction by cash in the preferred Syndicate/Canara/ICICI bank between January 9 to 23 January, 2018. No candidates are allowed to change the mode of the examination from computer based exam to Pen and paper based examination.

To know how to make corrections all the candidates can follow the below given points:

  • Candidates are requested to go to the official website.
  • Login with their credentials such as application number and password.
  • After login, the information filled in the application form will be displayed.
  • At the end of the page, a link for edit application form will be displayed.
  • Go through your application form thoroughly.
  • Once a candidate is done with the corrections he/she are advised to go through their edited application form appropriately.

JEE Main application form correction will be considered only if the candidates have paid their additional charges by completing all the steps of online application of JEE main. The applicants can alter all the filled particulars such as – images of the recent photograph, thumb impression and signature of their application form. The due additional fee can be paid by the candidates during that particular period. As, their changes will be updated after they have made all the payments clear. As stated above the candidates cannot change their selected exam mode. All the applicants must keep in mind that they will get only one chance to make their corrections. So before they submit their corrections they need to cross check their updated details thoroughly.
