Consumer electronics manufacturer ASUS has hired Archetype to oversee integrated communications efforts.
Sydney -SYDNEY – ASUS has hired Archetype to be the agency for its creativity within Australia in a broader plan to expand its image across the continent.
ASUS has hired Archetype as its initial Australian Integrated Communications partner. Before that, the company that makes consumer electronics was best known for its computer hardware, managed PR internally, and worked with agencies, such as Archetype, on a per-project basis.
There was no formal review from the agency.
The archetype will be responsible for the development of creative campaigns to help increase awareness of the brand ASUS and also solidify its position in new categories when new products are released. The archetype will collaborate with other agencies that handle ASUS operations, such as activations and media.
“We were looking for an agency that could help us think differently and bring big-picture creative thinking to life,” said Farzeen Qadir Hegde, ASUS’s marketing director in Australia. “We loved Archetype’s approach of big creative thinking married with detailed, cross-channel execution. We look forward to working with Archetype’s passionate team to take our local brand campaigns to the next level.”
