Based in Cutchogue, Dissent Chocolate will ship the first of its Chocolate Box subscription program in January. 17.
There are two types of memberships available.
North Pay chocolatiers are giving two forms of memberships per quarter The Dissent Chocolate Club membership ($75 per box) and the Diamond Membership ($150 for each box). Each membership will give you four boxes of the company’s premium chocolates each year and 10% off of all workshop and class offerings. Diamond membership also comes with two classes for free.
“We will create a tasty subscription box that is seasonal and includes handmade, artisanal chocolates every year four times and deliver it right to your doorstep,” the Dissent website states in a note that every box contains bonbons, chocolates, and other items valued at over $100.
For instance, January’s box will include:
- The Winter Collection 9-piece box.
- Dark Chocolate Lovers 12-piece box with peppermint bark.
- A hot chocolate bomb with a signature hot chocolate blend and the Dissent coffee mug.
Diamond members will also receive two vouchers for classes in their boxes.
The classes are held in-person at Atelier Dissent, located at 28080 Main Rd. in Cutchogue The store opened in March 2021. The shop’s signature chocolate workshop lets participants draw on a chocolate canvas.
Subscription boxes will be delivered in January. March 17, April 17, July 17, and October. 17. The parcels can be shipped across the country and are great presents. The cancellation of memberships has to be done at least 30 days before the next box delivery.
