Disney Cruise Line officially owns its fifth ship, as Disney Wish has now been delivered. The company’s newest ship was handed over during a ceremony at Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany yesterday.
The 144,000 gross ton Disney Wish is now headed for her new home in Port Canaveral, Florida. Wish’s official maiden voyage is set for July 14.
The last time the company took delivery of a ship was 10 years ago with Disney Fantasy.
Two additional ships are on order for deliveries in 2024 and 2025.
