COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – A few showers and storms today (40%) with a cold front. More sunshine and dry skies for Sunday.

· A few showers, downpours and storms this afternoon (40%). Best chance would be for our Eastern communities.
· Highs today will climb into the upper 70s
· Sunday is the first day of spring. We’ll see sunshine and highs in the upper 60s to near 70.
· More sunshine is expected Monday with highs in the mid 70s.
· More clouds for the day on Tuesday with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
· Rain along with a few storms arrive Wednesday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s.
First Alert Weather Story:
Although today starts dry, we’ll have an opportunity for a few showers, downpours and storms this afternoon. Best chance to see any rain would be for our Eastern communities. Rain chances are at 40% for the day today. It will also be a breezy day. In fact, we have a Lake Wind Advisory until 7 PM. Could see some gusts to 30 MPH. Temperatures this afternoon climb into the mid to upper 70s.
Any rain is out of here by the evening and we’ll slowly see the skies clear overnight tonight with a relaxing wind. Temperatures tonight drop into the 40s.
Sunday is the first day of spring! We’re expecting dry skies with plenty of sunshine. Because of a NW breeze, it will be a little cooler with highs in the upper 60s to near 70. For Monday, we’ll have more sunshine with highs in the mid 70s.
More clouds move in for Tuesday ahead of our next rain maker. Wednesday is our next best chance of rain and storms. Rain chances are 60% and we’ll likely see the rain continue into early Thursday am.

Tonight: Slow clearing with temperatures dropping into the 40s
Sunday: Sunny skies but a little cooler with highs around 70
Monday: Mostly sunny and warmer with highs in the low to mid 70s
Tuesday: Partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 70s
Wednesday: Scattered rain and storms (60%) with highs getting into the upper 70s to near 80
Thursday: A few early showers (50%) with highs in the low 70s
Friday: Partly cloudy with highs in the upper 60s to near 70
