The genetics of this strain wasn’t very stable – many plants were harmed. However, the plant this sample is from made up for it.
Gelato and Wedding Cake both bring indica/indica-dominant genetics to the table, and these heavyweight strains are rightly popular on both sides of the Atlantic due to their appearance, smell, taste, and effects. The Ice Cream Cake combines genetics, and the results are outstanding!
Appearance
These are some of the most delicious and frostiest strains I have ever seen! This looks great, even when compared to other 10/10 songs.
The sample comprises tightly stacked, dense nugs covered with white trichomes. This gives the impression of frosting all over the buds.
It’s also well presented, with a high-quality hand trim and an excellent dry cure.
This sample is something other than what I would be able to criticize.
Smell
The Ice Cream Cake is savory, spicy, sweet, and gassy. It also has solid skunky flavors that are evident before the buds have been squeezed.
The more robust, more pronounced scent of the cannabis fills my nose when I open it and start to grind it. It has a similar scent to OG, but it is sweeter. Pinene is also in the Ice Cream Cake’s terpene profile.
Enjoy a Taste and Smoking Experience
This was my first experience with the product. I tried it out in two different ways: vaporizer and bong. I also smoked it in a joint. I enjoyed the effects of the strain for weeks leading up to the review. Despite all this, I must pick my favorite way to eat Ice Cream Cake.
The bud is delicious no matter how you use it. It has a pleasant aroma that matches its taste, especially when vaporized. Thanks to its terpene profile, it has a rich, gassy, and moreish flavor that’s as sweet as it penetrates.
The bong is very smooth to use, and the vapor tastes excellent.
Effects
Ice Cream Cake customers will find an indica-dominant solid rock. This is me. It’s a brief moment of relaxation that doesn’t intoxicate me excessively and allows me to go about my everyday work.
Although the effects are more indica-oriented, I felt happy and uplifted. I find it lasts for a reasonable amount of time and isn’t too strong, so that I can take it day or night.
Conclusion
This sample was grown by a grower who is also responsible for genetics. This strain has a strong appearance. It is far superior to anything I have ever bought in Amsterdam or Barcelona.
It is a delight in taste, aroma, and effects. The consumption experience is seamless and delicious.
