WEST PALM BEACH, FLA (March 4, 2022) – The mega body acceptance advocate, influencer, and MEGABABE beauty product line founder, Katie Sturino, will discuss her new book, “Body Talk,” the body-positivity movement, and living your best life regardless of size, at the Mandel Public Library on Friday, March 18 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The event, which is free and open to the public with advance registration, will be followed by a meet-and-greet.
The event is part of the Mandel Public Library’s growing body confidence series, “Perfectly Imperfect: A Celebration of Every Body.” The library has hosted a variety of body positivity speakers. Also, throughout March, the library invites community members to pick up a free grab-and-go body positive book bundle and/or wellness kit, while supplies last.
“Katie is an inspiring, authentic entrepreneur and influencer who has empowered women of all ages to embrace their beauty and size and feel confident in exactly who they are,” said Mandel Public Library Director Lisa Hathaway. “It’s exciting to see her pen this new book. I am pleased that our library can play an important and meaningful role helping teens, young adults and people of all ages to change their mindset about their body image and love themselves on their own terms.”
Registration is required. To register, visit wpbcitylibrary.org call (561) 868-7701. Sturino will autograph her book, which will be available for purchase at the event. The program is supported by the West Palm Beach Library Foundation.
