SANBORN — The Jamestown Community College women’s basketball team concluded its season Saturday with a 64-42 loss to top-seeded Union County College in the NJCAA District East semifinals at Niagara County CC.
Hannah Hicks paced the Jayhawks with 12 points, 12 rebounds and four blocked shots, and Sydney Burk added 15 points.
Jamestown CC (12-14) trailed 28-20 at halftime.
ToniRenee Blanford led Union County with 18 points and Brianna Mills added 11.
The Jayhawks went 14-for-41 (34.1%) from the floor while the Owls were 29-for-72 (40.3%) from the field.
