The storms will likely be out of the area around midnight.
In a Facebook post, the Douglas County Emergency Management Agency shared the outdoor warning siren at the King Lake community is “currently being repaired and is not operational.”
“Residents should pay close attention to local media, cell phone alerts and weather radio for severe weather updates,” the post said.
